Is the Gamma Hex profitable?

The Bitaxe Gamma Hex mines Bitcoin on the SHA-256 algorithm at 8.4 TH/s, drawing 140 W (16.7 J/TH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $0.32 a day, spends $0.27 of that on power, and keeps $0.05. That’s around $1 a month. It stops making money above roughly $0.094 per kWh.

That puts it #173 of 522 on daily profit across every miner we track, and #74 of 262 SHA-256 miners on efficiency. It isn’t in stock with us at the moment. It’s a hydro (water-cooled) unit, released in July 2026.
