Is the Ebit E9.2 profitable?

The Ebang Ebit E9.2 mines Bitcoin on the SHA-256 algorithm at 12 TH/s, drawing 1,320 W (110 J/TH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $0.45 a day but spends $2.53 on power, so it loses $2.08 a day. It only makes money if your power costs less than about $0.014 per kWh.

That puts it #353 of 522 on daily profit across every miner we track, and #245 of 262 SHA-256 miners on efficiency. It isn’t in stock with us at the moment. It’s an air-cooled unit, released in May 2018.
