Is the BC08 profitable?

The Hammer Miner BC08 mines Bitcoin on the SHA-256 algorithm at 12 TH/s, drawing 250 W (20.8 J/TH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $0.45 a day but spends $0.48 on power, so it loses $0.03 a day. It only makes money if your power costs less than about $0.075 per kWh.

That puts it #203 of 522 on daily profit across every miner we track, and #123 of 262 SHA-256 miners on efficiency. It isn’t in stock with us at the moment. It’s an air-cooled unit, released in August 2026.
