Is the KS5M profitable?

The IceRiver KS5M mines Kaspa on the kHeavyHash algorithm at 15 TH/s, drawing 3,400 W (227 J/TH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $3.39 a day but spends $6.53 on power, so it loses $3.14 a day. It only makes money if your power costs less than about $0.042 per kWh.

That puts it #435 of 522 on daily profit across every miner we track, and #7 of 23 kHeavyHash miners on efficiency. It isn’t in stock with us at the moment. It’s an air-cooled unit, released in May 2024.
