Is the Tardis profitable?

The Bitfury Tardis mines Bitcoin on the SHA-256 algorithm at 80 TH/s, drawing 6,300 W (78.8 J/TH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $3.00 a day but spends $12.10 on power, so it loses $9.09 a day. It only makes money if your power costs less than about $0.020 per kWh.

That puts it #521 of 522 on daily profit across every miner we track, and #218 of 262 SHA-256 miners on efficiency. It isn’t in stock with us at the moment. It’s an air-cooled unit, released in November 2018.
