Is the L21 profitable?

The BW L21 mines Litecoin and Dogecoin on the Scrypt algorithm at 550 MH/s, drawing 950 W (1.7 J/MH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $0.33 a day but spends $1.82 on power, so it loses $1.49 a day. It only makes money if your power costs less than about $0.015 per kWh.

That puts it #317 of 522 on daily profit across every miner we track, and #57 of 60 Scrypt miners on efficiency. It isn’t in stock with us at the moment. It’s an air-cooled unit, released in January 2018.
