Is the B2 profitable?

The GMO miner B2 mines Bitcoin on the SHA-256 algorithm at 24 TH/s, drawing 1,950 W (81.3 J/TH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $0.90 a day but spends $3.74 on power, so it loses $2.84 a day. It only makes money if your power costs less than about $0.019 per kWh.

That puts it #415 of 522 on daily profit across every miner we track, and #223 of 262 SHA-256 miners on efficiency. It isn’t in stock with us at the moment. It’s an air-cooled unit, released in October 2018.
