Is the B3 profitable?

The GMO miner B3 mines Bitcoin on the SHA-256 algorithm at 33 TH/s, drawing 3,417 W (104 J/TH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $1.24 a day but spends $6.56 on power, so it loses $5.32 a day. It only makes money if your power costs less than about $0.015 per kWh.

That puts it #506 of 522 on daily profit across every miner we track, and #241 of 262 SHA-256 miners on efficiency. It isn’t in stock with us at the moment. It’s an air-cooled unit, released in November 2018.
