Is the A4 Dominator profitable?

The Innosilicon A4 Dominator mines Litecoin and Dogecoin on the Scrypt algorithm at 280 MH/s, drawing 1,050 W (3.8 J/MH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $0.17 a day but spends $2.02 on power, so it loses $1.85 a day. It only makes money if your power costs less than about $0.007 per kWh.

That puts it #334 of 522 on daily profit across every miner we track, and #60 of 60 Scrypt miners on efficiency. It isn’t in stock with us at the moment. It’s an air-cooled unit, released in July 2017.
