Is the V1 profitable?

The iPollo V1 mines Ethereum Classic on the Etchash algorithm at 3.6 GH/s, drawing 3,100 W (861 J/GH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $2.55 a day but spends $5.95 on power, so it loses $3.40 a day. It only makes money if your power costs less than about $0.034 per kWh.

That puts it #447 of 522 on daily profit across every miner we track, and #32 of 39 Etchash miners on efficiency. It isn’t in stock with us at the moment. It’s an air-cooled unit, released in June 2022.
