Is the V1 Classic profitable?

The iPollo V1 Classic mines Ethereum Classic on the Etchash algorithm at 1.55 GH/s, drawing 1,240 W (800 J/GH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $1.10 a day but spends $2.38 on power, so it loses $1.28 a day. It only makes money if your power costs less than about $0.037 per kWh.

That puts it #305 of 522 on daily profit across every miner we track, and #30 of 39 Etchash miners on efficiency. It isn’t in stock with us at the moment. It’s an air-cooled unit, released in June 2022.
