Is the Whatsminer M30S+ profitable?

The MicroBT Whatsminer M30S+ mines Bitcoin on the SHA-256 algorithm at 100 TH/s, drawing 3,400 W (34.0 J/TH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $3.76 a day but spends $6.53 on power, so it loses $2.77 a day. It only makes money if your power costs less than about $0.046 per kWh.
