The MicroBT WhatsMiner M76S+ mines Bitcoin on the SHA-256 algorithm at 390 TH/s, drawing 5,200 W (13.3 J/TH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $14.65 a day, spends $9.98 of that on power, and keeps $4.66. That’s around $140 a month. It stops making money above roughly $0.117 per kWh.
