The MicroBT WhatsMiner M7D mines Bitcoin on the SHA-256 algorithm at 634 TH/s, drawing 9,200 W (14.5 J/TH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $23.81 a day, spends $17.66 of that on power, and keeps $6.15. That’s around $184 a month. It stops making money above roughly $0.108 per kWh.
