The MicroBT WhatsMiner M70 mines Bitcoin on the SHA-256 algorithm at 214 TH/s, drawing 3,140 W (14.7 J/TH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $8.04 a day, spends $6.03 of that on power, and keeps $2.01. That’s around $60 a month. It stops making money above roughly $0.107 per kWh.
