Is the SC1 Dual profitable?

The Obelisk SC1 Dual mines Siacoin and ScPrime on the Blake2b algorithm at 1.1 TH/s, drawing 900 W (818 J/TH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $0.87 a day but spends $1.73 on power, so it loses $0.86 a day. It only makes money if your power costs less than about $0.040 per kWh.

That puts it #285 of 522 on daily profit across every miner we track, and #24 of 26 Blake2b miners on efficiency. It isn’t in stock with us at the moment. It’s an air-cooled unit, released in March 2019.
