Is the A40 profitable?

The DragonBall Miner A40 mines Alephium on the Blake3 algorithm at 3.3 TH/s, drawing 1,600 W (485 J/TH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $0.94 a day but spends $3.07 on power, so it loses $2.13 a day. It only makes money if your power costs less than about $0.025 per kWh.

That puts it #358 of 522 on daily profit across every miner we track, and #11 of 14 Blake3 miners on efficiency. It isn’t in stock with us at the moment. It’s an air-cooled unit, released in September 2024.
