Is the AL-BOX III profitable?

The Goldshell AL-BOX III mines Alephium on the Blake3 algorithm at 1.25 TH/s, drawing 600 W (480 J/TH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $0.36 a day but spends $1.15 on power, so it loses $0.79 a day. It only makes money if your power costs less than about $0.025 per kWh.

That puts it #281 of 522 on daily profit across every miner we track, and #8 of 14 Blake3 miners on efficiency. It isn’t in stock with us at the moment. It’s an air-cooled unit, released in September 2024.
