Is the X4 profitable?

The Jasminer X4 mines Ethereum Classic on the Etchash algorithm at 2.5 GH/s, drawing 1,200 W (480 J/GH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $1.77 a day but spends $2.30 on power, so it loses $0.53 a day. It only makes money if your power costs less than about $0.061 per kWh.

That puts it #266 of 522 on daily profit across every miner we track, and #17 of 39 Etchash miners on efficiency. It isn’t in stock with us at the moment. It’s an air-cooled unit, released in November 2021.
