The MicroBT Whatsminer M33S++ mines Bitcoin on the SHA-256 algorithm at 242 TH/s, drawing 7,260 W (30.0 J/TH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $9.09 a day but spends $13.94 on power, so it loses $4.85 a day. It only makes money if your power costs less than about $0.052 per kWh.
