The MicroBT WhatsMiner M79 mines Bitcoin on the SHA-256 algorithm at 920 TH/s, drawing 14,500 W (15.8 J/TH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $34.55 a day, spends $27.84 of that on power, and keeps $6.71. That’s around $201 a month. It stops making money above roughly $0.099 per kWh.
