Is the DG Hydro 1 profitable?

The ElphaPex DG Hydro 1 mines Litecoin and Dogecoin on the Scrypt algorithm at 20 GH/s, drawing 6,200 W (310 J/GH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $12.04 a day, spends $11.90 of that on power, and keeps $0.13. That’s around $4 a month. It stops making money above roughly $0.081 per kWh.

That puts it #162 of 522 on daily profit across every miner we track, and #30 of 60 Scrypt miners on efficiency. At the current best price of $9,661 it would pay for itself in about 203.9 years if today’s numbers held. They won’t, so treat that as a rough guide. It’s a hydro (water-cooled) unit, released in February 2025.
