Is the DG1 profitable?

The ElphaPex DG1 mines Litecoin and Dogecoin on the Scrypt algorithm at 11 GH/s, drawing 3,420 W (311 J/GH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $6.62 a day, spends $6.57 of that on power, and keeps $0.05. That’s around $2 a month. It stops making money above roughly $0.081 per kWh.

That puts it #172 of 522 on daily profit across every miner we track, and #33 of 60 Scrypt miners on efficiency. It isn’t in stock with us at the moment. It’s an air-cooled unit, released in February 2024.
