Is the ElphaPex DG1+ profitable?

The ElphaPex DG1+ (14G) mines Litecoin and Dogecoin on the Scrypt algorithm at 14 GH/s, drawing 3,920 W (280 J/GH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $8.42 a day, spends $7.53 of that on power, and keeps $0.90. That’s around $27 a month. It stops making money above roughly $0.090 per kWh.

That puts it #122 of 522 on daily profit across every miner we track, and #26 of 60 Scrypt miners on efficiency. At the current best price of $2,620 it would pay for itself in about 8.1 years if today’s numbers held. They won’t, so treat that as a rough guide. It’s an air-cooled unit, released in July 2024.
