Is the Whatsminer M30S profitable?

The MicroBT Whatsminer M30S mines Bitcoin on the SHA-256 algorithm at 86 TH/s, drawing 3,268 W (38.0 J/TH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $3.23 a day but spends $6.27 on power, so it loses $3.04 a day. It only makes money if your power costs less than about $0.041 per kWh.
