Is the Whatsminer M31S profitable?

The MicroBT Whatsminer M31S mines Bitcoin on the SHA-256 algorithm at 76 TH/s, drawing 3,220 W (42.4 J/TH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $2.85 a day but spends $6.18 on power, so it loses $3.33 a day. It only makes money if your power costs less than about $0.037 per kWh.
