Is the KD-BOX profitable?

The Goldshell KD-BOX mines Kadena on the Blake2s algorithm at 1.6 TH/s, drawing 205 W (128 J/TH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $0.00 a day but spends $0.39 on power, so it loses $0.39 a day. It only makes money if your power costs less than about $0.001 per kWh.

That puts it #252 of 522 on daily profit across every miner we track, and #13 of 16 Blake2s miners on efficiency. It isn’t in stock with us at the moment. It’s an air-cooled unit, released in May 2021.
