Is the KD5 Pro profitable?

The Goldshell KD5 Pro mines Kadena on the Blake2s algorithm at 24.5 TH/s, drawing 3,000 W (122 J/TH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $0.04 a day but spends $5.76 on power, so it loses $5.72 a day. It only makes money if your power costs less than about $0.001 per kWh.

That puts it #507 of 522 on daily profit across every miner we track, and #11 of 16 Blake2s miners on efficiency. It isn’t in stock with us at the moment. It’s an air-cooled unit, released in August 2022.
