Is the D3 profitable?

The VolcMiner D3 mines Litecoin and Dogecoin on the Scrypt algorithm at 20 GH/s, drawing 3,580 W (179 J/GH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $12.04 a day, spends $6.87 of that on power, and keeps $5.16. That’s around $155 a month. It stops making money above roughly $0.140 per kWh.

That puts it #44 of 522 on daily profit across every miner we track, and #7 of 60 Scrypt miners on efficiency. It isn’t in stock with us at the moment. It’s an air-cooled unit, released in January 2026.
