Is the D1 Lite profitable?

The VolcMiner D1 Lite (14Gh) mines Litecoin and Dogecoin on the Scrypt algorithm at 14 GH/s, drawing 4,150 W (296 J/GH). At $0.08 per kWh it earns about $8.42 a day, spends $7.97 of that on power, and keeps $0.46. That’s around $14 a month. It stops making money above roughly $0.085 per kWh.

That puts it #139 of 522 on daily profit across every miner we track, and #29 of 60 Scrypt miners on efficiency. It isn’t in stock with us at the moment. It’s an air-cooled unit, released in February 2025.
